Al Zubarah Fort and the abandoned village
The restored Al Zubarah Fort and its archaelogical works dates back to the 1700s. The fort was built in 1938. It is Qatar's first Unesco World Heritage Site.

One of the great libraries in the world, it is built like a spaceship. You find about million books, including ancient maps and Qurans and literature dating back to the 15th century.
